Ac-VEID-AMC (ammonium acetate salt)
Ac-VEID-AMC is a fluorogenic peptide substrate designed to detect caspase-6 activity, based on the lamin A cleavage sequence VEID. It is also cleaved by caspase-8. Upon proteolysis, the released AMC fluorophore (ex/em ~360/460 nm) enables quantification of caspase activity in both in vitro and cell-based apoptosis assays.
