Ciprostene (calcium salt)
Ciprostene is a stable, 9β-methyl analog of carbaprostacyclin and prostacyclin (PGI2), exhibiting similar but less potent biological activity. It induces hypotension and tachycardia in primate models and inhibits ADP-induced platelet aggregation both in vivo and in vitro, making it a research tool for studying cardiovascular and thrombotic pathways.
