KW-8232 is an orally bioavailable small molecule developed for osteoporosis research. It functions by inhibiting the biosynthesis of prostaglandin E2 (PGE2) . This mechanism has been investigated in both in vitro assays and in vivo animal models for bone metabolism studies.
