Leptin, NT, aa1-24 (Ob, Obese Protein, Obesity Factor)

Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20 °C. Stable for 12 months at -20 °C. Reconstitute by adding sterile 40-50% glycerol, PBS, 10mg/ml BSA. Aliquot and store at -20 °C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.

Recognizes human Leptin and Leptin (aa1-24). Species Crossreactivity: rat ~90%. Does not react to human Epidermal Growth Factor, Insulin, Insulin-like Growth Factor 1, Transforming Growth Factor-alpha and rat nsulin-like Growth Factor 2. Specific for the amino terminal of human Leptin, crossreacts with the amino terminal of rat Leptin.
