A6770 is a potent and selective inhibitor of sphingosine-1-phosphate (S1P) lyase, demonstrated by its ability to induce accumulation of the substrate [3H]dhS1P in IT-79MTNC3 cells (EC50 < 0.01 μM) . This effect is attenuated by vitamin B6, confirming target engagement. This tool compound is used in vitro to study S1P metabolism, signaling, and related pathways in immunology and cancer research.
