YNT-185 dihydrochloride

This small molecule is a potent and selective OX2 receptor agonist (hOX2 EC50 = 28 nM; >100-fold selective over hOX1) . It depolarizes histaminergic neurons in vitro and promotes wakefulness in wild-type mice while suppressing cataplexy in orexin-deficient models, making it a valuable tool for studying sleep/wake regulation and narcolepsy.
