Reduced Haloperidol

Reduced haloperidol is the active metabolite of haloperidol, formed by ketone reductase. It acts as a sigma-1 and dopamine D2 receptor antagonist, inhibits monoamine reuptake, and stimulates BDNF secretion in vitro. In vivo, it demonstrates analgesic effects in specific mouse models of chemical hypersensitivity.
