13 (S) -HpOTrE (γ)
13 (S) -HpOTrE (γ) is a monohydroxy fatty acid derived from γ-linolenic acid via soybean lipoxygenase-1 (LO-1), which can further convert it to 6,13-DiHOTrE isomers. At concentrations >100 μM, it acts as a feedback inhibitor of its producing enzyme, LO-1. This compound is used in research on lipoxygenase pathways, eicosanoid biosynthesis, and enzyme kinetics in vitro.
