O-desmethyl Brinzolamide (hydrochloride)

O-desmethyl Brinzolamide is the active metabolite of brinzolamide and a potent inhibitor of carbonic anhydrase isoforms CAII and CAIV (IC50s = 0.136 and 165 nM, respectively) . It is a valuable research tool for studying carbonic anhydrase function in models of glaucoma and other physiological processes in both in vitro and in vivo settings.
