Lascufloxacin (KRP-AM-1977) is a novel quinolone antibiotic candidate demonstrating superior in vitro activity against Gram-positive bacteria. It shows incomplete cross-resistance in quinolone-resistant strains and has been investigated in animal infection models for its therapeutic potential.
