4-oxo-27-TBDMS Withaferin A
4-oxo-27-TBDMS Withaferin A is a cytotoxic derivative of withaferin A, selectively inducing DNA fragmentation and cell death in A2780 ovarian cancer cells (IC50 = 17 μM) while showing markedly less activity against resistant and non-cancerous cell lines. Its research applications include investigating mechanisms of chemosensitivity and apoptosis in in vitro cancer models.
