May be stored at 4 °C for short-term only. For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and freeze at -70 °C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months.

This protein binds to murine monoclonal antibodies of defined epitope specificity and to rabbit and human serum polyclonal antibodies in ELISA and Western ELISA.
