8-bromo-Cyclic ADP-Ribose (sodium salt)
8-Bromo-cADP-ribose is a cell-permeable, stable antagonist of cyclic ADP-ribose (cADPR) -mediated calcium signaling. It inhibits cADPR-induced Ca2+ release via ryanodine receptors with an IC50 of 1.7 μM in sea urchin egg homogenates. This analog is a valuable pharmacological tool for studying cADPR-dependent pathways in cellular physiology, including research on cardiac, neuronal, and immune cell function in vitro.
