CAY10641 is an inactive alcohol derivative of a potent cPLA2α inhibitor (IC50=12 nM) . The parent compound exhibits topical anti-inflammatory efficacy in murine dermatitis models, but CAY10641 itself shows rapid systemic clearance and no other reported biological activities.
