Lactoferricin B (Lactoferricin-B, Lfcin-B)

May be stored at 4 °C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 °C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.

Recognizes bovine Lactoferricin B. Detects the QWR antigenic determinant specific for bovine Lactoferricin B. Is not present in lactoferrin in human, porcine, mouse, goat, rabbit, equine, rat, cockroach and African clawed frog. Lacks reactivity with bovine lactoferrin C-lobe, human lactoferrin or lactoferricin H.
