Melanoma, gp100 (Melanoma Associated Antigen) (BSA & Azide Free)
Product Specifications
NCBI Gene ID
6490
Reactivity
Human
Storage Conditions
May be stored at 4 °C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 °C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Specificity
Recognizes a human (pre)melanosomal 100+7kD antigen (glycoprotein). Reacts with melanomas, clear cells sarcomas (melanoma of soft tissue), nevocellular nevi and normal melanocytes. Except for one case of non-Hodgkin's lymphoma in which macrophages were positive, no reactions with other tumors or tissues have been observed.
