Catenin, beta, phosphorylated (Tyr654)

May be stored at 4 °C for short-term only. For long-term storage, aliquot and store at -20 °C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20 °C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.

Recognizes beta-catenin phosphorylated at Tyr654 and -catenin phosphorylated at Tyr654. Detects bands of ~90kD (beta-catenin) and ~70kD (gamma-catenin). Due to sequence homologies of the phospho-epitope surrounding Tyr654, there may be crossreactions with other proteins (e.g., Annexin A11 at 56kD, desmoplakin at 81kD, TNF-alpha-induced protein 2 at 73kD, ribosomal protein S6 kinase alpha 6 at 90kD). Species Crossreactivity: human, mouse and canine.
