Ricinelaidic Acid
Ricinelaidic acid is a 12-hydroxy fatty acid that acts as a leukotriene B4 (LTB4) receptor antagonist, with a Ki of 2 μM. It inhibits LTB4-induced neutrophil chemotaxis and calcium flux in vitro and demonstrates in vivo efficacy by reducing LTB4-mediated bronchoconstriction in rats.
