Neurofilament H, 200kD (NF-H)

May be stored at 4 °C for short-term only. For long-term storage, store at -20 °C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20 °C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.

Reacts with the intermediate filament protein of central and peripheral nerve cells. In Western blotting reactive only with the 200kD neurofilament protein. Reacts with both the phosphorylated and non-phosphorylated isoform. Species crossreactivity: Human, rat, rabbit, guinea pig, canine, hamster, chicken, mouse, bovine, monkey, sheep, Xenopus.
