Melanoma Discriminating Antigen

May be stored at 4 °C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 °C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. 

Recognizes the Melanoma Discriminating Antigen. Stains the majority of primary melanomas and the large majority of metastases. Local staining of dysplastic nevocellular naevi may be observed. Common nevocellular naevi rarely stain. Crossreacts with -dendritic cells in inflammatory infiltrates, sebaceous glands, non-cutaneous tumor and transferrin receptor CD71.
