Isoapoptolidin is a stable derivative of the natural product apoptolidin. It exhibits a 10-fold weaker inhibition of mitochondrial F1FO-ATP synthase (IC50 = 17 μM), making it a useful tool compound for studying apoptosis and energy metabolism in cancer cell research.
