PFM39 is a Mirin analog and selective MRE11 exonuclease inhibitor that extends mitotic duration. It suppresses homologous recombination (HR) and can counteract DNA repair deficiencies resulting from EXO1 or BLM loss, making it a valuable tool for studying DNA damage response in cellular models.
