p27Kip1, phosphorylated, (Ser10)

May be stored at 4 °C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, add sterile glycerol (40-50%), aliquot and store at -20 °C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20 °C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.<br>

Recognizes p27 when it is phosphorylated at the Ser10 residue. Lysates of HEK 293T cells transfected with an expression plasmid encoding a p27 mutant where Ser10 was substituted with an alanine residue were used to confirm the antibody's specificity. Reactivity was confirmed with HEK293 cells expressing wild-type p27/KIP that is normally phosphorylated. NIH3T3 and MCF-7 cell lysates can also be used as positive controls.
