C8 Dihydroceramide
C8 Ceramide (N-Octanoyl-D-erythro-sphingosine) is a cell-permeable ceramide analog with chemotherapeutic and anti-proliferative properties, also shown to enhance dendritic cell-mediated T cell responses. Its dihydro form serves as a negative control. Research applications include studying apoptosis, immunomodulation, and PKC signaling in vitro.
