YNT-185 is a potent and selective nonpeptide agonist for the orexin-2 receptor (OX2R), with an EC50 of 0.028 μM, showing over 98-fold selectivity over OX1R. It has demonstrated efficacy in alleviating narcolepsy-cataplexy symptoms in mouse models, making it a valuable tool for in vivo sleep/wake regulation research and in vitro OX2R signaling studies.
