MDM2, phosphorylated (Ser185) (Murine Double Minute-2)
Product Specifications
NCBI Gene ID
4193
Reactivity
Mouse
Storage Conditions
May be stored at 4 °C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot and add glycerol (40-50%). Freeze at -20 °C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months at -20 °C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
Specificity
Recognizes mouse MDM 2 showing a band at ~102kD corresponding to phosphorylated MDM2. Cellular Localization: Nuclear and cytoplasmic. Expressed predominantly in the nucleoplasm. Interaction with ARF (P14) results in the localization of both proteins to the nucleus. The nucleolar localization signals in both ARF and MDM2 may be necessary to allow efficient nucleolar localization of both proteins.
