Influenza A, Texas 1/77 (H3N2)

May be stored at 4 °C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 °C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.

Recognizes purified virions. Specific to H3N2 by IHA. Does not react with Infl. B, RSV, Para 1-3 or Adeno. Uninfected Cell Reactivity: Does not react with HEp-2 cells. May react with chicken cellular proteins.
