Lifitegrast sodium
Lifitegrast sodium is a small molecule integrin antagonist that blocks the LFA-1/ICAM-1 interaction, thereby inhibiting T-cell mediated inflammation on the ocular surface. It is widely used in dry eye disease research, with applications in both in vitro binding assays and in vivo preclinical models of ocular inflammation.
