Storage Conditions
May be stored at 4 °C for short-term only. For long-term storage, aliquot and store at -20 °C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20 °C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
Specificity
Recognizes Nicotinic alpha7 receptor (aa493-502) and the reactivity of Nicotinic alpha7 receptor is ~85%. Does not react to Nicotinic alpha3 receptor, Nicotinic alpha4 receptor, Nicotinic alpha5 receptor, Nicotinic beta2 receptor, Nicotinic beta3 receptor and Nicotinic beta4 receptor. Specific for the COOH terminal of nicotinic alpha7 receptor.
