HIV-1 tat, 37kD (Human Immunodeficiency Virus-1)

May be stored at 4 °C for short-term only. For long-term storage, store at -20 °C. Stable for at least 12 months at -20 °C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.

Recognizes wild type HIV-TAT protein. Antibody specificity was analyzed by immunoblotting with control GST-tat fusion protein (MW 37kD) and detection using the ECL system. Crossreacts with other GST fusion proteins unless pre-adsorbed against GST.
