c-Phospholipase A2 (Cytosolic PLA2, cPLA2)

May be stored at 4 °C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 °C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.

Recognizes endogenous levels of total human cPLA2. Does not crossreact with the secreted PLA2 (sPLA2) or cytosolic Ca2+ independent PLA2 (iPLA2). Species crossreactivity: monkey, mouse, and rat.
