b-Amyloid, aa1-40

May be stored at 4 °C for short-term only. For long-term storage, store at -20 °C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20 °C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.

Recognizes human b-amyloid. Demonstrates a high degree of homology with human and murine b-amyloid (1-40) and b-amyloid (1-42). Weak crossreactivity is observed with b-amyloid (1-28) and b-amyloid (12-28). No crossreaction is observed with CGRP. Species crossreactivity: Human and mouse.
