Lipopolysaccharide-induced CXC Chemokine (LIX, CXCL5)
Product Specifications
Reactivity
Human
Storage Conditions
May be stored at 4 °C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot and add glycerol (40-50%). Freeze at -20 °C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20 °C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
Specificity
Recognizes human CXCL5. Neutralizes human CXCL5 bioactivity. Based on direct ELISA results, this antibody shows less than 20% cross-reactivity with recombinant, human GCP-2 and less than 5% cross-reactivity with recombinant, mouse KC, recombinant, rat CINC-1, recombinant, human GRO, recombinant, human GRO and recombinant, mouse GCP-2. Additionally, in direct ELISA, this antibody shows no cross-reactivity with other chemokines tested.
