Anti - RAMP1 (Receptor Activity Modifying Protein1)

May be stored at 4 °C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot and add glycerol (40-50%). Freeze at -20 °C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20 °C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.d sections of tissues may be tested.

The peptides are 52% and 91% conserved in mouse and rat RAMP1, respectively. However, no significant sequence homology is detected with other RAMPs. The control peptide, because of its small size (~2kD), is not suitable for Western. It should be used in ELISA, Dot Blot or to neutralize antibody and confirm specificity of antibody
