Storage Conditions
May be stored at 4 °C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot and add glycerol (40-50%) Freeze at -20 °C or colder. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20 °C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
Specificity
This antibody is specific for aromatase. Species Crossreactivity: This antibody reacts with human aromatase protein. The immunogen used for this antibody production has 100% homology with monkey, 91% with horse, 90% with bovine and rabbit, 83% with porcine, and 81% with sheep, goat, and canine. There is no significant homology with rat or mouse protein.
