EM 163
EM 163 is a MyD88 TIR domain mimetic that inhibits TIR-TIR interactions, specifically blocking IL-1 receptor signaling. It reduces inflammatory cytokine production in vivo, protecting mice from SEB-induced shock, and in vitro, it blocks IL-1β-mediated p38 activation and impairment of protein synthesis in neuronal LTP models.
