Methoxy-PMS (1-Methoxyphenazine methosulfate) is a stable electron mediator, efficiently transferring reducing equivalents from NAD (P) H to tetrazolium salts in dehydrogenase assays. It is widely used in cell viability and cytotoxicity tests, applicable for both in vitro and in vivo research, and can also promote the generation of reactive oxygen species.
