May be stored at 4 °C. For long-term storage, aliquot and store at 4 °C. Do not freeze. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Gold conjugates are light sensitive.

Recognizes rabbit IgG, H&L. X-Adsorbed. Reacts with whole molecule rabbit IgG. It also crossreacts with the light chains of other rabbit immunoglobulins. Exhibits minimal crossreactivity to bovine, chicken, goat, guinea pig, Syrian hamster, equine, human, mouse, rat and sheep serum proteins.
