Metallo-β-lactamase-IN-6

Metallo-β-lactamase-IN-6 is a potent small-molecule inhibitor of VIM-type metallo-β-lactamases, showing low micromolar IC50 values against VIM-2, VIM-1, and VIM-5. It demonstrates strong synergistic antibacterial activity with meropenem in vitro against engineered E. coli and clinical P. aeruginosa strains harboring VIM-2, supporting research into overcoming carbapenem resistance.
