May be stored at 4 °C. For long-term storage, aliquot and store at 4 °C. Do not freeze. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Gold conjugates are light sensitive.

Recognizes the heavy chain of mouse IgM. Does not crossreact with mouse IgG, the light chains of mouse immunoglobulins or non-immunoglobulin serum proteins. Exhibits minimal crossreactivity to human, bovine and equine serum proteins. May crossreact with IgG from other species.
