Acidic Hair Keratin, K33 (hHa3)

May be stored at 4 °C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 °C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.

Recognizes human hair keratin K33 (hHa3) expressed starting from the middle hair cortex. Because of high sequence homology both keratin isoforms K33a (hHa3-I) and K33b (hHa3-II) are detected. Species Crossreactivity: mouse
