RLA, DR (FITC)

May be stored at 4 °C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 °C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. FITC conjugates are sensitive to light.

Recognizes rabbit RLA-DR chain at ~35kD. Reacts with RLA-DR-transfected cells, but not with RLA-DQ-transfected cells and, in normal adult rabbits, 50-60% of peripheral blood leukocytes and splenocytes. It has been reported that the antibody stains: lymphocytes in the thymic medulla and some cells in the cortex; periportal cells in the liver; and synovial lining cell (i.e., infiltrating macrophages) in inflamed synovium.
