CL097 hydrochloride is a potent dual agonist of Toll-like receptors 7 and 8 (TLR7/8) . It activates macrophages, inducing pro-inflammatory cytokine release and priming NADPH oxidase to enhance formyl peptide-stimulated reactive oxygen species (ROS) production. This compound is widely used in immunology research to study innate immune signaling and inflammation in cellular models.
