Ovarian Carcinoma-Associated Antigen (Ovarian Tumor Marker)

May be stored at 4 °C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 °C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.

Recognizes 80% of human nonmucinous primary and metastatic ovarian cancers. Rarely stains nongynecological malignancies using standard immunohistochemical conditions. Cross reacts with mesotheliom, other gynecological adenocarcinomas and incidentally other nongynecological malignancies. Does not cross react with breast carcinomas, colon carcinomas or mesothelial cells.
