LG308 is a novel synthetic antimicrotubule agent that induces apoptosis and suppresses tumor growth. It arrests cells in the mitotic phase by inhibiting G2/M progression, associated with cyclin B1 upregulation and cdc2 dephosphorylation. This compound is a valuable tool for prostate cancer research in both in vitro and in vivo experimental models.
