Cytokeratin 3, K2P (Keratin K3/K76)

May be stored at 4 °C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 °C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.

Recognizes the 64kD polypeptide (cytokeratin 3) of rabbit corneal epithelium and keratin K76 (cytokeratin K2p) of palate epithelium. As such represents an excellent marker for studying corneal epithelial-type differentiation. Also recognizes bovine snout and lip epithelium, as well as a rabbit corneal cell line.
