ENMD-1068 hydrochloride is a selective PAR2 antagonist that inhibits TGF-β1/Smad signaling, reducing hepatic stellate cell activation and collagen production. It is used in research models of liver fibrosis and endometriosis, where it suppresses cell proliferation and induces apoptosis in lesion cells.
