Lung Cancer-Associated Antigen (Cluster 1, SCLC)

May be stored at 4 °C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot and add glycerol (40-50%). Store at -20 °C or colder. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20 °C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.

Reactive with lung cancer-associated antigen (cluster 1). Reacts with a membrane-associated protein present in normal and malignant neuroendocrine tissues including SCLC. A positive reaction of MOC-52 and MOC-1 is found in most SCLC cases. The epitope is destroyed during formalin fixation. Recommended for Brain/adrenal gland. Species Crossreactivity: Human.
