Exendin 4

May be stored at 4 °C for short-term only. For long-term storage, aliquot and store at -20 °C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months at -20 °C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.

Recognizes Exendin 4. No crossreactivity with GLP-1, GLP-2 (human) or glucagon coated on ELISA wells. Full reaction with Exendin 4 when coated on ELISA wells showing an epitope in the 9-39 region. Reacts specifically with Exendin 4 in solution giving a Ka of 1.6x10e8 in an inhibition ELISA. The binding between E9050-03 and Exendin 4 is disrupted by 4.5M MgCl2.
