Hantavirus (Hantaan, 76-118 Strain)

May be stored at 4 °C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 °C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.

Recognizes Hantaan virus-infected cells. Reacts with an epitope present on the N-terminus of the nucleocapsid protein (S segment) of Hantaan 76-118 strain. Does not react with SNV (Sin Nombre virus)rN protein. Species Crossreactivity: human, rat, mouse, canine
